There’s something really funny about a murder investigation being interrupted by a boiled sweet or someone needing the toilet, and I really admire Osman for once again succeeding in presenting plot with all the twists and turns of an Agatha Christie novel, but somehow also finding space for lots of moments of joy and hilarity (mainly through Joyce’s take on events in her diary). Yes it is! Our favourite cardigan-wearing crime-fighters are back, straight after their success in solving the murder case, and ready to battle with drug dealers, spies and the mafia!
